TAAM Golden Milk

Golden Milk, made with turmeric, Saffron and Organic Ceylon Cinnamon

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups unsweetened and full-fat almond or coconut milk
  • 1 stick Organic Ceylon cinnamon or 1/4 teaspoon Organic Ceylon cinnamon Powder more as garnish at the end
  • 2 inches fresh Natural turmeric sliced or 1 ½ teaspoon TAAM Natural Rajapuri turmeric Powder spice
  • 1-inch fresh ginger sliced or ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil
  • Pinch Telicherry black pepper
  • One TAAM Natural Star Anise
  •  One tablespoon maple syrup or honey or more to taste
  • One teaspoon of ground TAAM Saffron (Grind saffron using a mortar and pestle)

Place milk, Ceylon cinnamon stick, turmeric, ginger, coconut oil, and black pepper, and Star Anise in a small saucepan.

Cook, stirring frequently, until warm but not boiling.

Give it a taste and add in your sweetener.

If you used fresh turmeric and ginger, strain it into your cups. If not, add the turmeric powder and Ginger powder to the mixture and divide it into two cups. Add the Saffron powder to the mixture and stir until it gets desolved.

Sprinkle with Ceylon cinnamon Powder, and Enjoy.
